Digital Imaging Center
The rapid advance of digital technologies has allowed us to offer our customers products and services almost un-imaginable several years ago! Our staff uses equipment by Apple, Adobe and Epson… all recognized as leaders in the digital graphics industry.
Archival Printing Services
Southampton Village Photo has the ability to print 100% archival "Giclee" images from wallet size to 23x36 using our Epson Gemini 2 printing system. We feature two Epson 4000 printers and one Epson 7600 printer which can print on a variety of papers including glossy, luster, matte, textured, watercolor and canvas stock. Your printed images can also be mounted on foam-core or placed in any frame in-stock.
For larger prints, we have the ability to out-source to one of our business partners. Larger prints can me made to virtually any size and printed on several types of media which can be used indoors our outdoors.
Image Scanning
Our digital imaging center features an Epson 10000XL professional graphics flatbed scanner allowing us to convert any static image into digital format. Transmissive media such as slides, chromes or negatives in sizes including 35mm, 120, 4x5 and 8x10 can all be scanned to the highest resolutions. In addition, we can also accept flat, reflective media such as prints and artwork up to 12x18 inches for single scans. Larger media can be scanned in multiple pieces and pieced back together in Adobe Photoshop perfectly, or shot with high resolution digital cameras.
Photo Restoration & Re-touching
Do you have an old family heirloom photo in need of restoration, or perhaps a recent photo which needs to be altered? If so, our talented graphics professionals can help. Many times photos can be restored to original condition, or altered to eliminate, replace or add items. This process is achieved using the magic of Adobe Photoshop. Graphic Design
The talented graphic designers at Southampton Village Photo can create signs, banners, collages, greeting cards and posters. The magic of Adobe Photoshop allows us to create stunning visuals using hundreds of fonts, colors and your choice or layouts. Our staff will consult with you regarding your end product and design ideas. Digital Processing
Print your digital photos in minutes with our Kodak Picture Maker! Our KPM kiosk accepts most camera memory cards and prints 4x6, 5x7 and 6x8 photos, you can also burn all of your images to Kodak CD's.
The Kodak Picture Maker is self-service and very easy to use. Any questions? One of our trained staff would be glad to assist you. You have complete control over your images; crop, darken, lighten, balance colors, remove red-eyes… you can even print greeting cards, add text and print in color, black & white or sepia! All of this and prints in just minutes!
Film Processing
Due to the rapid advance of digital photography, we no longer offer film processing in-house. There is simply not enough people processing film to keep the processing chemistry fresh. Beware of other labs offering "one hour photo", ask them how fresh their chemistry is!
However, we are still able to offer you the highest quality film processing through Kodak. Drop off your 35mm color, black & white or slide film for 3-5 day service. Order a Kodak Photo CD and enjoy all the benefits of digital photography with your film camera. Enlargements and reprints can also be ordered, 4-6 day service.
